Managing seats
Seats map one-to-one to the members of your organisation, so adding or removing people changes what you pay.
A seat is simply a user in your organisation. You pay for the people who are members, so the size of your team is what decides your monthly or annual cost.
Seats are your members
There is no separate pool of seats to top up or assign. Every member of your organisation (owners, admins, and members alike) takes one seat at R170 per month (or R1,800 per year on the annual plan). Your bill is your member count multiplied by that figure.
Adding and removing people
Because seats follow membership, changing who is in your organisation changes what you pay:
- Inviting a new colleague adds a seat immediately. On a paid plan, the prorated charge for the remainder of the current billing period is taken straight away.
- Removing someone frees their seat at the end of the current billing period. No refund is issued for the remaining days: the seat runs to the period end, then the person loses access.
Inviting people is an owner or admin action. Removing a member on a paid plan is owner-only: the removal is scheduled and takes effect at the end of the current billing period, so the seat cost runs to the end of the period you have already paid for. On a free trial, owners and admins can remove members immediately.
See managing members for how to send invites and remove people, and invite your team for the first-time walkthrough.
For how those charges are taken, see payments and invoices.
